Partner briefing – Action Learning for Living Project Phase 2
WEA in Nottingham are involved in a national research project funded and co-ordinated by the Department for Education. The purpose of the research study is to find an answer to the following question:
‘Can community learning courses help people manage better problems they are experiencing, like not sleeping, stress, finding it hard to go out, worrying, feeling anxious, sad or low?’
The research study will be complete by July 2017. It aims to recruit 14,000 people from across England who have a mild to moderate mental health condition as ‘research volunteers’. WEA is one of 50 or so providers who deliver adult and community learning who are taking part.
The purpose of this briefing is to give you information about what to expect if you work with us on the ALL Project.
